Water Cooler Trivia set out to test the capabilities of GPT-3 in a more difficult domain than checkers or chess: trivia. In the end, GPT-3 got 73% of 156 questions correct compared to an average user score of 52%. While this was better than most users, 37% achieved higher scores on their latest quiz.
